We also provided the date for when Parks Canada’s reservation system opens for campgrounds and guided hikes. You’ll want to get your reservations in early since the free park admission and special programming in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday might make 2017 the busiest year at the parks yet!

She won our Experience the Cowboy Trail 2016 Reader Survey Contest, and recently visited Alberta Boot in Calgary to receive her prize. Ben Gerwing, owner of Alberta Boot, presented a $300 gift certificate to her. She walked away from the store with a new pair of boots!
