How are our (past) winners doing? We love to know they enjoy their prizes.
Here you go; Claude Robidoux is our last year’s photo contest winner and he shared with us how he and his family are having such a fine time in the outdoors!

“Hello Bob;
I hope you are having a great summer so far. I just wanted to let you know that I got to enjoy my prizes from the photo contest last year. I had won a family pass for the National Parks, and $100 Esso gas card, which I used a few days ago with my family. We went and spent four days in Radium Hot Springs. That was our first time trying the hot springs, which all of us really enjoyed, including the kids. We spent one day exploring Kootenay National Park, including hiking Marble Canyon, and we made it to Lake Louise. Thanks again, and here are two pics of us that I set up using the tripod and self timer. Have a great summer!”

“Hello Bob;
I just wanted to let you know that my family and I got to enjoy my pass again that I won last year in the photo contest. We went to Calgary to visit some friends, and since we had the pass we stopped in Revelstoke, Moraine Lake and Takakkaw Falls. It was very nice to have the pass because even when we had only an hour to visit a place there was no excuse not to go since we didn’t have to pay. We are introducing the kids to hiking slowly in hope that in a couple of years we will be able to enjoy longer day hikes as a family. Here are a few pics.

Have a great weekend!”
