What Lies Within?

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters when compared to what lies within us. But that journey–to come to unlock what lies within — is not an easy task, especially when our lives are so filled with obligations, commitments, and deadlines. It seems that everyone these days is in such a rush — scrambling day-to-day to get somewhere, anywhere — head down, bum up. Anxiety and stress levels are spiraling out of control. Natural disasters and human-induced conflicts are continuously on the rise, reflections of an increasingly taxed planet.
How can one break the cycle? Where can an individual go to find peace and tranquility from all the insanity going on in the world?
In order to learn the deep natural power and value that lies within each of us, we must first become still. We need the time, space, silence, and wisdom to be able to come to understand our true mission in life — never mind get some sanity.
People of true wisdom, throughout time, have realized the value of getting outside the box of their reality and spending time in the gentle, calming, nurturing embrace of Mother Nature. They understood that the healing powers of the natural environment could center them, so they scheduled time to be in nature — to be alone (shortened from the two words, ALL ONE) within the beauty of creation.
Many people today have a tendency to discredit the value of getting into nature and being alone with their thoughts — connecting with their inner being, their inner spirit. When is the last time you ever kicked off your shoes, wriggled your toes into the ground, and watched a sunrise or a sunset in the Canadian Rockies? Our beautiful mountain parks provide not only a magnificent backdrop for our viewing pleasure but, more importantly, they contain the energy, strength and spirit that allows the individual to throw off their cares, breathe deeply, recharge, and reflect on what lies within. We have one of the best mountain ranges on earth, right here in our own backyards, to retreat to — to re-center, re-create, re-energize, and remove stress and anxiety.

What_Lies_Within

Masters from all walks of life knew that profound insights and inspirations occur where conscious man meets the mountains. The mountains give us perspective. We all need to get present to this value. The Canadian Rocky Mountains are known for their mystical experiences. This is one of the reasons why I founded the Initiate School of the Canadian Rocky Mountains Ltd. here in Calgary. As an adult School of Consciousness and Enlightenment, the Initiate School provides a non-denominational, non-religious venue where people from all walks of life attend classes and study evolution. The Initiate School is dedicated to the enlightenment and spiritual advancement of those who wish to awaken to their Conscious Evolution.

In addition to weekly classes, we have regularly scheduled retreats and international speakers. These retreats are, naturally, held in the Canadian Rockies — only an hour from Calgary. To learn more about Zale Zeviar and The Initiate School, check out www.initiateschool.com. And, in the meantime, take the time to enjoy the Canadian mountain parks and truly appreciate them for what they can do for you. Remember to take off your shoes and get your feet in the earth and wiggle your toes.

Blessings, Zale
