The Calgary Area Outdoor Council has provided information on several interesting activities that are coming soon. The Council works to enhance access to the outdoors by serving as an information source and voice for the outdoor recreation community. Here are just a few of the upcoming activities they’re promoting.

Bragg Creek Trails is holding a “Tunes for Trails” concert silent auction this Saturday (May 24) at the Bragg Creek Centre. Skuzzy and the Woodticks will provide music. A few of the auction items are Nipkia Mountain Resort package for 2, Gord’s Running Room shoes certificate and $50 gift certificate, and jewelry from StoneWillows. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the association, which is a volunteer group of Bragg Creek residents that design, build and maintain trails and pathways for residents and visitors of Bragg Creek to enjoy. Tickets are $25 in advance or at the door. Doors open at 7 pm. Click here to learn more.
