Now, our celebrity judges – Bob McDonald, host of CBC’s “Quirks and Quarks”; Peter Hall, president of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada; “morning goddess” Patti Shea of regional radio station The Eagle; Daniel Betts, editor of The Fitzhugh; and Tourism Jasper’s own Mary Darling – will determine who will be the sole survivor. Only one can be the star! Stay tuned for the judging round, unfolding from now until September 18 live via YouTube.
The volume and creativity of submissions was both impressive and inspiring, so congratulations to everyone who entered. Please visit the contest Facebook page to see some of the great videos, photos and stories. We hope to see you all at the Dark Sky Festival, October 12 – 14, 2012!
