Experience Banff National Park

Banff National Park runs northwesterly from Canmore to the Columbia Icefield. It encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of pristine wilderness. Established in 1885, after three railway workers discovered a cave containing hot springs, Banff National Park has become a world-class destination, hosting an estimated 4 millions visitors each year.

The summer months are the most popular, although Banff National Park is a stunning year-round playground.
Have you witnessed the migration of a thousand eagles, or hiked among the golden larch trees in the fall?
In Banff National Park, you can enjoy all the comforts of home in fine resort hotels, or step outdoors to share this World Heritage Site with all manner of wild animals, including elk, wolves, grizzly bears, mountain goats and more!
