Attention all (local or not) artists!

The Eagle Point-Blue Rapids Parks Council is looking for creative and original logo artwork to be featured as their official logo for their Park Watch Program.
Park Watch is a voluntary program designed to get the public to be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Eagle Point-Blue Rapids Park System.
It involves:
 Creating public awareness and greater appreciation for the Park and the natural surroundings,
 Allowing the opportunity to note natural features and wildlife sightings,
 Providing an opportunity to report acts of vandalism, theft, trespassing, cut fences, garbage dumping, and other illegal activities.

Contest rules:

  • Open to all ages.
  • Logos can be either hand-drawn or digitally created.
  • All entries must be original ideas.
  • A winner will be selected by a panel of Parks Council judges.
  • Entries must include your name and phone number.

The Prize:

The winner will receive a Free All-Day Family Pass (up to four family members) to the World Waterpark at the West Edmonton Mall!

Entries can be e-mailed to outreach@epbrparkscouncil.org or dropped off at the 2nd floor of the Provincial Building Drayton Valley) and must be received by October 31, 2012.
